Jackson Knight has been renovating property since 1997. We have renovated everything from one bedroom flats in Leith and Gorgie to million pound houses in the New Town and Morningside.

We now offer a unique renovation service which differs from the usual service provided by most contractors. You might just need your kitchen refitted or some velux windows added to a room to give more light. Whatever you need doing, you can rely on the fact that Jackson Knight has probably already done it and knows the pitfalls.

We can also offer invaluable advice on how alterations might improve or detract from the value of your property. We can advise on the likelihood of whether or not planning permission, listed buildings consent and a building warrant is required and if so, we can recommend an architect suitable for that particular alteration.

Jackson Knight has viewed hundreds of properties over the past few years and can quickly assess the best way to alter and improve a property to maximise the space available. We are also used to working to a budget, so you don’t need to worry if your funds are limited.

Our development business, Jackson Knight Developments Ltd, has renovated many different properties over the years and has a wealth of experience in producing top quality, stylish developments. We are also well versed in finishing a property so that it is “dressed” and ready to move into. Our interior designer will work with you to advise on colour choice and ensure that the materials you want to use tone well with each other to deliver a truly stunning home.
